Dochia legend, Romania

The Legend says that Dochia was a girl that his parents took her since she was a little girl to become a nun to a monastery at the foot of the mountains Ceahlau.

When she became a young girl, while walking in a meadow near the monastery, she met a young prince and she fell in love with him. The two met every day in the beautiful meadow and they were very happy together.

One day, however, the young man never came again, and Dochia has learned that he was married.
She was so touched by the news that she climbed the peaks of Ceahlau mountains and wandered twelve days in great despair. The twelfth day, she threw herself off a cliff.

Since then, the rock is called Dochia, and the first 12 days of spring are known as the "days of Dochia wandering".
People say that these 12 days correspond to the 12 months of the year, and the they think that the weather in these days will be the time for each month that corresponds to its day.
