Bucharest Rising is a film in the bustling capital of Romania. The purpose of this project is to promote the attractions of the city and to show its diversity and recent evolution.

In the period between the two world wars, the elegant architecture of the city has earned in Bucharest the nickname of "Petit Paris". Unfortunately, many buildings in the historic center were destroyed in 1977 by a terrible earthquake and Ceaucescu's systematic program. In recent years, the city has grown economically and culturally and today, Bucharest is an interesting mix of neoclassical style, the communist era and modern architectures.
The locations that appear in this film are concentrated in the center, the old town and the northern part of the city. You can see beautiful parks (Cismigiu, Herastrau and Carol), buildings of the communist era (Parliament Palace and House of Prese Libre), historical buildings (Romanian Atheneum, CEC Palace) and modern structures Basarab Overpass, City Gate Sky Tower).
